Today, September 30 and October 7: Our 9am Sunday morning Bible studies, Sunday school classes, youth group and young adults group will be in recess today, September 30 and October 7 for the school holidays. These classes all resume on Sunday, October 14.
Thursday, October 4: Our Thursday Bible study home group meets at 11.30am on Thursday, October 4 at David and Lorraine C’s home. Please bring lunch to share.
Thursday, October 4: Darren is leading a church service from 2pm on Thursday, October 4 at Opal Abbey Gardens nursing home. Any singers/helpers most welcome.
Friday, October 12: Our Mainly Music is in recess for the school holidays and will resume on October 12. MM meets from 9.30-11am on Fridays of school terms. This playgroup, for babies to preschool-aged children and their parents and carers, is held in the side room of the Morayfield Community Hall. Morning tea is served for littlies and their parents and carers. Cost is $2 per child or $5 for families.
Sunday, October 14: Pr Bob Burnett will visit and preach at our sister church WPC Belconnen, in Canberra. WPC Belconnen is joining the Queensland WPC presbytery and Bob and WPC Qld moderator Rod Abbot will travel to Belconnen to welcome them to our presbytery.
Wednesday, October 10: Our next GPCM women’s dinner will be held from 5.30pm on Wednesday, October 10 at the Caboolture Sports Club. Dinners are two for $22. See Sherril.
Wednesday, October 17: Our fortnightly Murrumba Downs home group meets from 7.15pm on Wednesday, October 17 at the home of Al and Robyn B. See Al or Robyn.
Tuesday, October 23: Pr Bob is leading a service from 1.30pm on Tuesday, October 23 at Sunnymeade Park Aged Care Community Nursing Home, 362-376 King St, Caboolture.
Saturday, October 27: Peter H. is hosting a think tank on discussing ways to build or have our own church building from 8.30am to 12pm on Saturday, October 27 at Pete’s place.
Saturday, November 3: Nichole Humphreys will conduct a workshop for church leaders, workers and interested participants on providing first aid for mental health emergencies, from 9am to 12pm on Saturday, November 3at the side room of the Morayfield Community Hall.
