The Sovereign Savior

Scripture always stresses the sovereignty of God in salvation. Believers are born again, “not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:13). “Of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures” (James 1:18).
